Pot holes on our roads are a mess and i wonder who is in charge at all. Are the Urban roads/ highways being paid to sleep or what? Drive through some of the so-called principal roads and you would have a shock of your life. Holes big enough to burst a tyre or spoil the car. So are there no knowledgeable guys out there who can fix these problems? It is a shame if our engineers are now pot bellied after collecting kickbacks and now are redundant in doing the work.
Why should a road which is barely a year old have potholes? Common sense must tell you the work was not well executed. Yet there were so called consultants from these Urban roads and highways who after collecting their share of the monies kept quiet. A big shame to them all.
After all they do not have the moral rights to call back the contractors to fix the problems on the new roads even though it is still within the maintenance agreement period. Oh my Ghana when shall corruption stop?
